Develop, apply and maintain quality standards for the company’s products.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software test plans. 
• Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
• Maintain documentation of test results.
• Analyze test results and recommend corrective action.
• Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
• Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data require a review of identifiable factors.
• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Normally receive no instruction on routine work, but will receive detailed instructions on new assignments.

Core Level Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: (Please note that relevant co-op, internship or school projects will also be considered in place of requirements below.)
• Product Planning: 1 year minimum experience with product planning and knowledge of evaluation methods in the design, development and debugging of software programs.
• Software Quality Assurance: 1 year minimum experience configuring and manually testing software applications and developing test plans and test cases.
• Platforms/Operating Systems: 2 year minimum with detailed experience working with, configuring and administering Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• Network Administration: 1 year minimum experience with designing,configuring and administering Ethernet networks.
• Programming Languages: 1 year minimum experience with developing simple programs or scripts and equivalent time debugging simple software programs – e.g. C, C++, Python or Java development a plus.
