Leonard Hordyk
Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Leonard is responsible for the Company’s strategic direction and business operations.
Hordyk brings more than two decades of experience leading, financing and developing strategic partnerships to the In Motion Technology team. Prior to joining the Company, Hordyk was President and CEO of Vancouver based TIR Systems Ltd. where he led the company’s strategic, finance, and growth efforts to become one of the world’s leading innovators in next generation lighting systems. Prior to its listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange and eventual acquisition by Royal Philips Electronics in June 2007, Hordyk’s leadership enabled TIR to build a strong Intellectual Property portfolio, filing 187 patents and achieve exponential revenue growth.
Before joining TIR Systems, Hordyk held a number of senior management positions with Motorola's Wireless Data group, where he gained global experience and provided leadership for product development and systems, sales and marketing, business development and operations.
Hordyk is a graduate of Camosun College.
Kirk Moir
President & Chief Operating Officer
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Moir is responsible for the Company’s technology direction and product delivery.
Before co-founding In Motion Technology, Moir led business unit operations for the network management group of San Diego CA-based Applied Digital Access prior to ADA’s acquisition by Acterna, a global leader in telecom test and management products based in Washington DC. Prior to joining Applied Digital Access, Moir led technology and business development for the Special Service Networks (SSN) group of MPR Teltech, a noted innovator in telecommunications research and development.
Moir is a graduate of the University of Manitoba.
Larry LeBlanc
Chief Technology Officer and Founder
As chief technology officer, Larry LeBlanc is responsible for the company’s technology strategy, product development and software engineering. Prior to co-founding In Motion Technology, Larry held senior positions at Acterna designing, implementing and deploying management systems for telecommunication service providers including Telecom New Zealand, Telus, Sprint and AT&T. Larry’s technical expertise spans more than 16 years in software engineering, networking, customer support and staff development. He is an expert in distributed communications systems, and has led the design of many breakthrough applications. Larry has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba
Ed Ho
Vice President, Operations and Founder
Ed Ho is responsible for hardware engineering and operations at In Motion Technology. Previously, Ed served as director of engineering of Software Systems for Acterna and director of engineering for software management systems at Applied Digital Access. Ed has more than 20 years of experience developing advanced data and telecom service management solutions and has deployed systems for leading companies including Time Warner, Citizens Communications, Williams, Nextlink, Verizon, GTE, NASA and the Vancouver Stock Exchange. He has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
Anthony (Tony) Morris
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Tony Morris directs In Motion’s sales and marketing strategy. With more than 20 years in the data communications industry, Tony has a proven track record of successfully launching and positioning innovative data and communications products. Previously, Tony was vice president of sales for MetaSolv Software, Inc., where he managed all IP-related product sales in North America, South America and Asia Pacific. Prior to MetaSolv, he served as director of systems engineering and business development for Laurel Networks. He has an Honors degree in Cybernetics and Control from Reading University in the United Kingdom.
David Birarda
Vice President, Business Development
As vice president of business development, Dave is responsible for accelerating In Motion’s development of new market opportunities. A veteran of the communications technology industry, Dave has worked extensively in product development, marketing and sales of systems used by the telecommunications carriers and private radio network operators. Dave has held sales, business development and operations positions at GTE, MPR Teltech, M/A-COM and IPMobileNet. Dave is a graduate of the Electrical Engineering program at Carleton University in Ottawa.
