onBoard Mobile Gateway only product demonstrated that switches traffic between multiple cellular WANs and FirstNet Band 14 Network
Vancouver, BC – May 9, 2013. In Motion Technology announced today that its in-vehicle router – the onBoard Mobile Gateway (oMG), was successfully evaluated at the Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) program at the U.S. Department of Commerce Boulder Laboratories in Colorado. During evaluation, the oMG demonstrated seamless switching of traffic across multiple test networks. Completion of official testing will demonstrate that the oMG is capable of similar seamless switching across multiple commercial carrier LTE networks and the FirstNet Band Class 14 public safety network.
