About the Opportunity:
Working within our software project team, you will apply your technical and functional expertise to provide leadership in the design and development in the onBoard Mobility Manager, a mobile network management system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Spearhead the design and development of new UI features
- Work with product marketing to perform requirement analysis and ensure in-depth understanding of requirements
- Provide technical guidance to development team to promote consistency and usability
- On-time delivery of stable, production ready software, consistently meeting the product requirements and within determined constraints
- Perform design and code review for team members to validate customer requirement conformance and software development best practices
- Coordinate system testing and provide technical support to test team as needed
- Perform investigation of customer-facing technology problems, and propose solution options for efficient and satisfactory resolution
- Proactively propose system enhancements and improvements based on customer usage and technology environment
- Strive to stay current with web applications technology and market demands with goal to improve product
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with web applications development focus, or a Technology Diploma with relevant industry experience
- Over 10 years experience in developing complex software applications
- Expert knowledge in creating Enterprise web site, able to provide examples of prior work
- Expert in JavaScript/DHTML using jQuery
- Strong knowledge in Ajax and XML, and deep understanding of web template system
- Working knowledge in report generation tools
- Experience in Java and SQL is an asset
- Resourceful self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Works well both individually and within a team and takes pride in the overall achievements of the team as well as personal accomplishmentss
